i suggest an 8-direction on screen Dpad to allow for the best possible way to control movement (jumping, sliding, and sprinting) with options to move those back to separate buttons. The slider and buttons are not the way to go for a game like this (but they still should be options). i really don't like the controls for this version of the game, i think that they should start from square 1 and redesign the controls to allow for a more free-flowing feel of movement.
